In collaboration with our dealer Calipro, we have delivered a new free farrowing project in France for pig farmer Earl Hostiou.

In this project, the free farrowing pens are equipped with the Balance movable sow floor, which ensures that good results are achieved despite a reduction in sow spaces. During the days surrounding farrowing, the Balance prevents piglet crushing, after which it is deactivated and the farrowing pen is opened.

Thanks to the self-supporting floors supported by concrete piers, construction costs can be significantly reduced. Additionally, installing these floors is very quick in this way.

The ingenious farrowing pen provided by our dealer not only provides ample space for the sow, but also a safe place for the piglets.
