Nooyen increased fire-safety with fire resistant slats

After two years of research and development has Nooyen the certificate "European fire classification" Bfl - S1 obtained for its super coated slatted floor.

On November 17 we have delivered the first fire resistant farrowingfloors to mr.  Kees van der Meijden in Oirschot. After his barn burned down in 2013, fire-safety has played a major role in planning the new barn. 

All Nooyen super coated floors now feature the Fire Resistant coating. We are proud that we have found this solution, a coating that meets the latest requirements of  buildingregulations & fire-protection and still preserve piglets. We have thus proved that fire does not have to come at the expense of the technical results.

During the on-site fire-demo was clearly visible that the coated floors really have earned the title Fire classification Bfl-S1.
